The Aquila 96C is a six-string set for guitalele (guilele) in A tuning, the standard tuning for these instruments. Aquila's Nylgut trebles give a warm, round tone with good projection.
The bass strings are silver-plated copper wound on a Nylgut core. Aquila recommends making sure the nut and bridge slots are smooth and shallow before fitting, as Nylgut is sensitive to sharp edges. The set is designed for a scale of around 17 inches and should not be used on longer scales.
