The Roland GI-10 is a MIDI guitar interface designed to convert analog signals from a guitar into MIDI data, allowing guitarists to control synthesisers and other MIDI devices using their instrument. Released in the mid-90s, the GI-10 was aimed at providing guitarists access to the expressive power of MIDI, without needing to switch to a keyboard or other controllers.
The GI-10 features an advanced pitch-to-MIDI conversion technology, enabling accurate note detection and low latency performance. It supports polyphonic and monophonic tracking, making it adaptable for a range of playing styles. The interface includes a variety of sensitivity settings to tailor response to different guitars and playing techniques, along with compatibility with Roland's GK-series pickups. Additionally, it offers MIDI-out and host computer connections for broader integration with studio setups and sequencers.
No Power Adapter.
